These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Perfect Cook mobile application ("App") available on Apple's App Store. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent
- Remove any proprietary notices or labels from the App
3. Purchase & Refunds
Perfect Cook is available as a one-time purchase of $4.99 USD through the Apple App Store. There are no subscriptions, no recurring fees, and no hidden costs.
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are subject to Apple's refund policy. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your purchase grants you access to all features available at the time of purchase and future updates to the App, as long as the App continues to be available on the App Store.
4. Cooking Information Disclaimer
The cooking times, temperatures, and doneness guidance provided in the App are for informational purposes only. They are based on general cooking guidelines and may not be suitable for every ingredient, equipment, or preference.
- Always use a food thermometer to verify safe internal temperatures
- Follow applicable food safety guidelines in your region
- Results may vary based on your specific equipment and ingredient sizes
- The App is not a substitute for proper food handling and safety knowledge
We are not liable for any outcomes resulting from following the cooking guidance in the App.
5. Intellectual Property
All content in the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, icons, and cooking data — is owned by or licensed to Xavier Canchal and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any App content without our express written permission.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Xavier Canchal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Internet Requirement
The App requires an internet connection on first launch to download ingredient and cooking data. After the initial download, cached data is available offline. We are not responsible for any issues arising from lack of internet connectivity.
9. Updates & Changes
We may update the App and these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
